It was with excitement that I saw some incredible photography taken with people’s regular cellphones. I was thinking “Imagine taken these with the big camera”. So I decided to go to the incredible SMITH ROCK! (Click link) and enjoy the second night as predicted by our NASA. But that evening we didn’t have the same effect as the atmosphere reacted differently than Friday the night before.

Never the less I was able to wait and around 3 am we started to have some hues of the incredible Aurora Borealis (Northern lights) … these coming from the massive solar flare activity we had last week May 11, 2024. Here are some of my favorite photos! The night was crispy and the stars were certainly shining!! What an incredible spectacle still!

On the photos below you can see how when I arrived there was a beautiful min but then the pink hues started to appear as the stars started to shine even more!
