The Santa Monica Pier is a large double-jointed pier at the foot of Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica, California. With an iconic entrance, the pier is popular with residents and visitors as a landmark that is over 100 years old.

So I was lucky enough to be at such location. The Pier indeed looks amazing but what interests me is the under side structural foundation and the beach itself. The west coast of the United States can have some incredible sunsets that can equal the amazing sunrises in Florida.

I feel lucky to be able to see such magnificence!
